Yannis is an experienced entrepreneur and multi-disciplined professional with over 20 years’ experience of founding, building and acquiring businesses.

Rob has been employed in social care for over 20 years and has held a number of roles in both the private and public sectors.

Alex has 10 years of private equity experience, most recently with Tristone’s key funding partner, Duke Royalty Limited.

Lucy is Tristone’s Group Financial Controller and has 7 years experience working within the Financial Services Industry. She supports the finance function right across the Tristone Group.

Daryl Holkham

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONAL CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Daryl has extensive experience of residential children’s homes, fostering and specialist education. He has been an Responsible Individual for numerous children’s homes.

Yannis’ key roles in Tristone include setting the vision and culture, identifying and negotiating acquisitions, funding and strategic oversight.

Rob Finney

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Rob has been employed in social care for over 20 years and has held a number of roles in both the private and public sectors. The main focus of his work has been concentrating on the needs of Looked After Children in residential, foster care and adoption and the commercial as well as the quality assurance relationship between local authorities and the independent sector.  This has led him to a deep understanding of the impact of care planning by corporate partners and how this impacts on outcomes for people and children alike. The vast majority of Rob’s experience is in fostering, adoption and residential services. He has held Director level positions in the independent sector and service manager level posts in local authorities. Particular areas of interest are: the relationship between the public and independent sectors, service assessment and improvement and the change management process, business planning in children’s services, quality assurance and compliance in both fostering and residential services as well as teaching mentorship and leadership skills.

Phil Ledgard

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Phil is an experienced finance professional having held strategic roles across AIM plc, FTSE100 and Private Equity environments for a variety of high-growth service sector businesses. Phil has extensive acquisition and integration experience with a track record of growing profitability, delivering strong cash generation and control as well as driving strong commercial practices across multi-site and complex portfolios of businesses and sectors. He has a proven ability to develop and lead well-organised, high-performing teams and financial control environments and is skilled at establishing long-lasting, effective business relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

John McCooey

GROUP COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

John has more than 25 years’ experience in finance and commercial director level positions, with particular expertise in operational and strategic financial management, improving profitability and business efficiencies, together with acquisition, divestment and business integration.

As Commercial Director John is responsible for driving commercial excellence within the existing portfolio as well as supporting the M&A team integrate new businesses into the portfolio.

Chris Elliott

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

As an independent professional of 5 years, Chris holds a range of Non-Executive Director positions as well as providing consultancy services principally to family and private equity owned businesses. He is a qualified accountant with over 30 years of commercial, operational and financial management experience, most recently as Group MD for a FTSE 100 services group. Chris gained private equity industry experience having as Group FD led the buyout of GSL from Group 4 Falck A/S in 2004 and, subsequently, as a Group MD of GSL more than doubled shareholder value on exit 4 years later. Chris has also held executive positions within IMI, Croda, Thomas Cook and Price Waterhouse before joining Group 4 in 1990.

Alex Hibbard

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Alex has 8 years of private equity experience, most recently with Tristone’s key funding partner, Duke Royalty Limited. Alex has led and been involved in several of Duke Royalty’s key buy & build strategies in recent years and has worked across a range of sectors including social care, leisure, manufacturing and Information Technology in his career before joining the Tristone team.

  3. Investment structuring
  4. M&A and growth investment execution

Alex is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MA in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.

Laura Green

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Laura has over 11 years experience working within the Financial Services Industry with a background in Corporate & Structured Finance and the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) sectors and is a highly experienced PA with a demonstrated history of providing efficient and reliable administrative services to Senior Management and Chief Executives.

Laura is a Qualified Project Manager – Prince 2 Practitioner and provides key administrative support to the Tristone financial team.

Furthermore, she is responsible for the management of the day-to-day running of the Tristone Head Office.

Lucy Busby

GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Lucy is Tristone’s Group Financial Controller and has 7 years experience working within the Financial Services Industry. She supports the finance function right across the Tristone Group and is currently studying towards her CIMA qualification.

Daryl Holkham

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONAL CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Daryl has over 20 years’ experience of working at a senior level in children’s services. After achieving notable academic success by completing a master’s degree at the Internationally renowned Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts (UEA), Daryl worked as a teacher before moving into a senior post as a Senior SEND Officer for a large local authority and subsequently held senior management positions and board positions in providers of childrens’ residential care.

Daryl has extensive experience of residential children’s homes, fostering and specialist education. He has been an Responsible Individual for numerous children’s homes and a fostering agency and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of safeguarding, combined with an extensive knowledge of legislation relating to children and vulnerable people.

Jonathan Gallanders

IN-HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL

Jonathan is Tristone Capital’s In-House Legal Counsel providing legal advice to our community of businesses. Admitted as an SRA-regulated solicitor, Jonathan focuses on commercial law and has a specialist interest in transactional services, including business and property asset acquisitions.   Jonathan transitioned from working in private practice to becoming our In-House Legal Counsel to be close to our community of businesses to understand their commercial objectives to give both a legal and practical solution to risks and opportunities.  

Sarah Brown

FINANCE MANAGER

Sarah is an experienced qualified accountant having held senior positions within property and private estate organisations. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in many aspects of finance, not limited to, Trust, Charity, Private Equity, Treasury, Investment, Audit, Tax, Systems and Staff Management.

Jean-Marie Salmacis

Credit Manager

Jean-Marie is an accomplished Credit Manager with more than 15 years of experience across multiple industries, particularly in Healthcare and Telecoms. Over the course of his career, he has honed his skills in credit management, financial analysis, and debt recovery, playing a key role in refining credit policies and enhancing cash flow management for various organizations.
Known for his ability to balance risk with business growth, Jean-Marie is dedicated to ensuring financial stability and cultivating strong client relationships.
